Galatians 3:13 - 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”.
Sin has and shall always be the major source of curse on humanity. It has a negative effect on everything we see, know, think, feel and touch. The entire creation has been groaning under such a curse for countless generations. (see Romans 8:22).
However, the death and resurrection of Jesus has broken the dominance of sin’s curse once and for all over humanity. As God’s people, we are called to live above the curse and to flourish and grow as He originally intended from the beginning (see Genesis 1:27-28).
The next 4 Sundays we will discover how Christ’s death is our redeeming source of liberation and restoration that empowers us, His people, to live above the curse.
